Marty is a third generation contractor. He started his career in commercial building in Illinois. Later he concentrated on residential construction and developement management with a total of 33 years of experience in the construction industry.

Service is the secret of a successful builder. Marty offers every kind of service pertaining to developing and building. Service along with talent and the proper resources seem to be a winning combination for his success. Marty presented two homes in HBA's 1993 Parade of Homes, and one semi-custom home in King's Deer for the 1996 Parade of Homes.

Chartercraft Homes has been in Colorado Springs for thirteen years, specializing in traditionally styled starter level semi-custom homes. The following are various Colorado Springs communities Marty has built in: Creekside Estates, Stetson Hills, University Park, Commanche Estates, Cottonwood Grove, Woodstone, Fountain Ridge, Miller's Crossing, Apple Ridge subdivision at Appletree Golf Course, Chelsea Glen, Palmer Lake and Kissing Camels. Currently Marty is building semi-custom homes in the following areas: The Black Forest, including Forest Gate Estates, Perry Park, Cherry Creek Crossing, Monument, Park Ridge off of Curtis Road and Cumberland Green in Fountain.
